Screen Free Day!

As Children’s Mental Health week was such a success and much needed, we are encouraging you to have a non-screen day each Friday. Switch off devices and enjoy your day.

A message from your teachers:

Hello Class 2,

Today is Friday and that means we now have a week off school for half term. Please watch the video’s below and listen to the message from myself and Mrs Darby. I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of you this half term, you have worked your socks off. I know it has been tricky at times to concentrate and work at home but you all have tried so hard.

Today is a no technology day again so I would like you to choose some of the activities from below as well as doing your spellings.

I hope you all have a fabulous day and have lots of fun.

Activities that you may wish to participate in are…

  1. Help make breakfast for yourself and your family.
  2. Wrap up warm and take a walk outside. How many things can you see that start with the letters of the alphabet.
  3. Read your favourite book. Can you make a story telling sack? Add objects or draw pictures to retell the story.
  4. As it is Valentines Day on Sunday, can you make a card for someone you love?
  5. Relax and watch a movie.

If you would like to come on Zoom to finish off our story of ‘The Ugly Ducking’ and see how the story ends. I will leave the 2pm afternoon session on.
