Class 2’s Home Learning Page
Good morning Class 2,
This is the last week of home leaning before we are back together on the 8th March.
When I make my calls this week , if there are any questions you have on the return to school, I will be happy to answer them.
If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please remember there are 3 drop-in zoom sessions a day, one at 10.am for English, one at 11:30am for Maths and one at 2pm for afternoon sessions. You can ask any questions you wish to or show me some of your work.

Spellings:
Over the next couple of weeks, we will spend our spelling time focusing on common exception words. We need to be able to read and spell them.
Today, watch the power point, again and say each word. Then write each word down, circling then tricky part in each of the words.

Make sure you get your phonics mat out of your pack.
Can you go through each phase and say each digraph/trigraph sound.

In our English session this half term, we will be focusing on instructional writing and non-chronological reports. We have looked at these before, so I’m sure you’ll all be amazing writers this half term.

Recap on your number bonds to 10. Watch and join in. Can you get someone to test you on them during the week when you have practised.
