Spelling
Begin your spelling session by reading them out loud to someone in your house. Then spell them out forwards and challenge yourself to spell them out backwards.

Then complete rainbow writing using two colours. Write the consonants in the word in one colour and the vowels in the word in another colour.
Remember your vowels – a,e,i,o,u

Can you remember the four sentence types from last half term?

Please write down one sentence for each of the sentence types. Please don’t worry if you have forgot what any of them are, just let me know and we can look at it again.

Today in English, you are going to be completing work about lions. Watch the video below first, make sure you are listening carefully to the facts and information.
Write the title ‘Magnificent Lions’.
I want you to complete some factual writing today about lions. Use the two sub-headings:

- Interesting facts about lions
Remember to write the sub-heading first and the writing underneath. The video should give you lots of information to write about.
